Where did you go last night, Jon? I asked you to explain your comment…didn’t make sense to me.

Comment by Leigh Ann — May 4, 2007 @ 9:39 am

then you tried unsuccessforly to prove your religious points. It was a valiant effort. You even quoted all 3 verses you know in the bible.

Comment by Frodo Baggins — May 4, 2007 @ 9:43 am

LOL, no one was chatting so i didn’t come back to the blog, let me check what you wrote……….. can’t figure it out, what comment was i supposed to explain?

Comment by jtuffy — May 4, 2007 @ 9:45 am

Who the heck is Frodo?? Elvis …is that you?

Comment by Leigh Ann — May 4, 2007 @ 9:46 am

And excuse me ! At least I used scripture !!!

Comment by Leigh Ann — May 4, 2007 @ 9:46 am

Jon..”well, then, the church is simply the saved, not the bible” ..how hard was that? It was your only comment to me.

Comment by Leigh Ann — May 4, 2007 @ 9:49 am

So I have a random topic. Have any of you ever played tennis. It is so easy to play. I don’t know why its even called a sport. Professional tennis players are rediculous. why do they make so much money for something that is really just a hobby not a sport. It just doesn’t take that much skill or athletic ability. Its kinda like soccer. I could be a professional soccer or tennis player if I practiced for a couple of days. Its just too boring for me to put any energy into. anyways just a random thought I had.

Comment by Frodo Baggins — May 4, 2007 @ 9:49 am

Anyone can pick apart the scriptures to mean whatever you want them to, like how bout women should remain silent in church…. they must be in submission 1 corthinians 14:34. LOL

Comment by jtuffy — May 4, 2007 @ 9:50 am

That is random frodo, but yes tennis players are a bunch of sissy whiney folks. Don’t know so much about the soccer player though spence, i’d love to see you out on the pitch.

Comment by jtuffy — May 4, 2007 @ 9:51 am

Oh, well that comment about the bible was just a sacrastic remark on how you said there was no organization for a church, so why should there be an organized volume of books either.

Comment by jtuffy — May 4, 2007 @ 9:53 am

Tennis players are the best athletes !! Hello !!

Comment by Leigh Ann — May 4, 2007 @ 9:55 am

out on the pitch? is that some lame soccer term?

Comment by Frodo Baggins — May 4, 2007 @ 9:55 am

Women are to remain silent in the church..that is why the men teach, preach, and lead the prayer.

Comment by Leigh Ann — May 4, 2007 @ 9:56 am

calling a tennis player an athlete is like calling a pool player an athlete.

Comment by Frodo Baggins — May 4, 2007 @ 9:56 am

oh, let’s see you get out there, Frodo !!!

Comment by Leigh Ann — May 4, 2007 @ 9:58 am

wake up, Michael !!!

Comment by Leigh Ann — May 4, 2007 @ 9:58 am

like i said i have played tennis. It is too easy. thats why its boring. I would rather watch pool on tv then tennis. I love how they grunt everytime they hit the ball, like it is so hard for them or something

Comment by Frodo Baggins — May 4, 2007 @ 10:00 am

Yeah, frodo, play Federer and see how easy it is !!! lol

Comment by Leigh Ann — May 4, 2007 @ 10:01 am

i could beat that school girl any day. you just like it because he grunts and wears those little daisy dukes when he plays.

Comment by Frodo Baggins — May 4, 2007 @ 10:04 am

In what other sport do you see an athlete have to work continually for 3 or even 5 hours (the men)!

Comment by Leigh Ann — May 4, 2007 @ 10:05 am

Playing your momma doesn’t count, Frodo !

Comment by Leigh Ann — May 4, 2007 @ 10:06 am

If that is what you call work? Standing there and swinging your arms!

Comment by jtuffy — May 4, 2007 @ 10:08 am

That’s probably why you lose,Jon…you have to run to the ball !!

Comment by Leigh Ann — May 4, 2007 @ 10:10 am

they go for hours and hours playing poker also. but thats not a sport. And thats my problem with tennis and soccer. thats all their doing is running for a few hours, they’re not using much athletic ability while running around. and they don’t even run that much in tennis.

Comment by Frodo Baggins — May 4, 2007 @ 10:10 am

You need to get on to Borger so I can show you how it’s done, Tuff Guy !

Comment by Leigh Ann — May 4, 2007 @ 10:10 am

Oh, right, Frodo !!! .. You don’t have a clue ! I could beat you !!

Comment by Leigh Ann — May 4, 2007 @ 10:11 am

Well, why don’t you go dust the tumble-weeds of the dusty court and see if you able to do that much “work”

Comment by jtuffy — May 4, 2007 @ 10:12 am

They are the best all around athletes!! They have to play on all surfaces..all climates…y’all are just clueless!

Comment by Leigh Ann — May 4, 2007 @ 10:14 am

and they are very nice to look at….yeah, baby ! lol

Comment by Leigh Ann — May 4, 2007 @ 10:15 am

So, here is the deal with tennis. It is a sport that alot of people play. Drive past your local courts, I bet there is always someone there. There are three sets of courts here in town and they are always full. So advertising is a big deal. It’s all about the endorsements. The tennis equipment and aparel companies make proffesional tennis huge as a way to advertise their gear. If fewer people played and the manufacturers had less riding on what the proffesionals were wearing it would just go away.

Comment by Seth — May 4, 2007 @ 10:16 am

Tennis is a sport one can play forever ! I love it ! We have a ball playing..

Comment by Leigh Ann — May 4, 2007 @ 10:18 am

If you played Federer, you’d be humiliated !! You’d go off crying..”but it’s not fun, mommy!”

Comment by Leigh Ann — May 4, 2007 @ 10:19 am

All right lets cut this racket out! Everyone is entitled to their opinion, just like in religion, its just sad that some people don’t see the truth. : )

Comment by jtuffy — May 4, 2007 @ 10:23 am

Shut up, Jon… LOL

Comment by Leigh Ann — May 4, 2007 @ 10:23 am

So is everyone geared up for the start of slaughterhouse 5? You are welcome to join in on the discussion tennis-the-mennis. Are we going to start this weekend, how much do we read?

Comment by jtuffy — May 4, 2007 @ 10:25 am

Well. gotta run now. I’ll catch Michael later, I hope. Have a good day… and so on.

Comment by Leigh Ann — May 4, 2007 @ 10:27 am

do we actualy want/need a reading schedule for everyone to follow? Or should we just go at it and talk about it for the next week? What do you all think?

Comment by Seth — May 4, 2007 @ 10:35 am

I’m down with whatever, if it is a good book, i’ll have it read within a week.

Comment by jtuffy — May 4, 2007 @ 10:43 am

Just wanted to say I consider you all to be my brothers and sisters in Christ though we see things differently.

Comment by Leigh Ann — May 4, 2007 @ 11:25 am

and Michael…you have so much to offer. Why can’t you see that God has blessed you? Hope we can talk later.

Comment by Leigh Ann — May 4, 2007 @ 11:26 am

Yes we believe we are all brothers and sisters as well, here is another point of doctrine of the LDS church, … we believe that Christ and God are two separate distinct beings. So we say that we are all children of God, not Jesus. Just wanted to clarify that.

Comment by jtuffy — May 4, 2007 @ 1:28 pm

ok…we agree there, tuff one.

Comment by Leigh Ann — May 4, 2007 @ 1:33 pm

It’s only 4:00! Why is everyone stopping?!

Comment by Michael — May 4, 2007 @ 4:01 pm

Nothing exciting was going on

Comment by jtuffy — May 4, 2007 @ 4:04 pm

Well Mr. Excitement is here!

Comment by Michael — May 4, 2007 @ 4:06 pm

I’m not sure Leigh Ann understood what tuffy meant about everyone being children of God. Either that or she doesn’t understand what her own church believes, OR she is just defiant to her church………………. (or maybe I don’t know what I’m talking about)

Comment by Michael — May 4, 2007 @ 4:09 pm

I don’t think you do…

Comment by Leigh Ann — May 4, 2007 @ 4:10 pm

Did you stop by blockbuster on the way home doms?

Comment by jtuffy — May 4, 2007 @ 4:10 pm

Well, what happened to mr excitement???

Comment by jtuffy — May 4, 2007 @ 4:15 pm

ALl right, driving home, have a good weekend you monkeys, see some of you peeps online later (xbox and here too)

Comment by jtuffy — May 4, 2007 @ 4:15 pm

Mr. Excitement fizzled out !!! k, I’m off..

Comment by Leigh Ann — May 4, 2007 @ 4:24 pm

well mr excitement called me and his misses spilt coffee on his computer and fried it out. See, that is why you don’t drink coffee, just one more example

Comment by jtuffy — May 4, 2007 @ 5:28 pm

coffee is good for you . . not so good for computers!

Comment by Leigh Ann — May 5, 2007 @ 1:02 am

Comment by Leigh Ann — May 5, 2007 @ 1:05 am
