Check out last nights workout, i’m telling you everyone needs to get an Ipod and the Nike + thing, it is awesome, really motivational and we could challenge each other to races. Of course this is second fiddle to the xbox 360, so if you don’t have one, pick that up first! LOL So what is new peeps, no one blogs anymore!

So we broke down and got an ipod nano a few weeks ago, I told myself i would never be an ipod yuppie cause you are basically just paying for the name “Apple” However, the nanos have this nifty feature where you can buy a nike + sport kit and it tracks and saves your runs, it is really sweet! You can enter goals and challenges and track everything online. I’m in this one challenge with a buddy in New York to see which team can run the most miles before Aug 31st. So you should run out and get one, i know suspence has a nano but is too lazy to drop by the store and pick one up! LOL.
Well, my 360 should be arriving late today or tomorrow. I can’t wait i’m super stoked, plus Bioshock just came out and i really want to check out the demo, i’ll probablly end up just buying the game it looks so good, and only 34 more days till Halo 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Boooyahhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So what’s the deal with the ipod? Do you strap it on to your arm, go running while listening to all your songs you’ve transferred to it while it records your run via GPS or what? And yes, face it, you are an ipod-yuppy now. aka dork.

Yep, Dom, it is sweet, it isn’t GPS, it works off a sensor you put on your shoe. You need to check it it, with your high powered job you need to get one asap! We could challenge each other!!! Yep, you strap it to your arm too!

Dude, whatever happened to just counting your miles and writing them down in a log. I’m too old fashioned to rely on a computer for that kind of stuff.
But, whatever it takes to get you motivated.
DOMS, i think i might need a work out regime to get me back to health. i can’t seem to stop losing weight. but the doc says i can’t lift weights yet, so i’ll let you know when i can start.
sidenote: i talked to my sister last night. Play N Trade (the video game company) is on the verge of exploding. she’s been meeting with disney and all these other big wigs about joint ventures and what not. she said now is the time to get in. a fanchise is only like 22K. PNT is totally different from gamestop and others, they hold vicious tournaments and are completely decked out. i’m telling you boys, we need to look into it.

All right, i’m game, so where do we sign up, who’s got the cashola? Who is going to run it?

I’m totaly down with PNT. If we do it in Rexburg, I’ld totaly run it too. The town doesn’t really have anything like that… I bet it would be popular. So… how much moola do I need to scrounge together to get into the biz? Let’s make it happen!
You like your Nike+ thing, jon? I thought about getting one for my nano… but have heard mixed reviews of them. I keep hearing the GPS is the way to go. I haven’t really been running much though, unless you count to the bathroom. Been crazy sick the past week and a half. During Rachel’s labor I kept having to go to the can. I thought I was gonna miss the main event.

ah, you have a nano huh Seth, sweet. I’m telling you spence and you need to get one, its one of the best 30 bucks i’ve spent, i’ve run 10 miles this week. I really hate running, but it is a good motivational tool.
I thought it was pretty accruate until last night. I was sweating like a bicha so i took the nano off and put it on the treadmill I was using, i think the senors interfeared somehow because it says i only ran 3 miles! And the treadmill showed 4.25. So off the treadmill it works pretty good. Plus you are running with music anyways might as well have a little extra motivation
Yeah, Scam? where are the details. And what is the major competitive advantages vs. something like Gamespot? The tourneys?
