Sweet nibblets, what is new in the world!

Started construction last Saturday. We were only allowed to use hammers on Saturday to make sure everyone knows how to drive a nail… but we were still able to finish an entire floor. So… now the nail guns are coming out and we should really start cooking! I think our group is going to be really good, and that the work should go fast. Our group wants to break the record for how fast the houses are done… and I think we might actualy have a shot at it.

Alot of our group has construction experiance. Get us in our houses faster!

Congrats, seth. i hope things go at a smooth pace.

as for the company shelling out their dough on me - it makes complete sense to me. its just recruiting. everybody does it.

here’s the thing with business though - security. like you said spencer, you pay these guys a ton a week, but there’s no insurance, no benefits, no security. and really, there’s no where to go in the company. Its not all about money. Are there other, intangible benefits that come from working for your company. i’m sure the freedom, the atmosphere, the perks to vegas are all probably nice.

i wonder what the market is like for guys like you, tuffy. what is the average salary and what not? are you getting the short end or do you think you’re doing okay, just getting a lot of work? are you mad about the structure of the situation?

Yep, I agree. Security is what it’s all about. I don’t have any, so I can really appreciate it.
