hey, how do you play old xbox games on the xbox 360. are you limited to the games on that are backwards compatible?

Been so quite lately. Is everyone super busy or just have nothing to say? Everyone make out with some fat loots for X-Mas? I know Benj did! I don’t know how I feel about this idea that Christmas is for the kids… Anyway, hope you all had a merry one!

Same old thing for me here, it seems like everyone else just quit the blog. I’m always sitting here at the office ready to pound out a few rounds.

We made out pretty good for Christmas, it is really funny realizing that Christmas is all about the kids now days. However, i did get a couple games; Madden 08 and Call of Duty 4 and some money. With my money, i went and bought my first handgun yesterday, a Ruger 45. Can’t wait to try it out this weekend.

Jen got DDR and money as well and a bunch of junk that i gave her. Kirsten made out like a bandit. You can see some of the pics on our picture blog at jenandjoncummings.blogspot.com

A ruger .45… that’s awsome! I would love to get some firearms. I would really like to get into small game hunting, like birds and such. Keep trying to get my hands on dad’s shotgun but mom says she needs it for defense, even though she has a rifle too. Can you imagine my mother getting the jump on a burgler with a shotgun in one hand, rifle in the other and a bright flowered moo-moo? It’s almost too funny…

I got the Futurama movie that just came out… and a T-shirt from Rory that has a picture of Santa and says, “Santa Claus… you bet I believe!” I think he has lost his mind. And a Nike+ from “The Boss”! (As soon as this Broncitis clears up you guys will have someone to make you feel better about yourselves!) All of my Christmas money is going to buy shower rods and curtains and all those goodies for the house. But it was really fun to watch Benj go to town! He got on a role and almost opened some of our presents before we could redirrect him onto his own… pretty funny.

All right, the nike+ business, i need some good motivation, spence hasn’t provided any! Looks like that was a sure but there. I’ve still been running once a week, but I need to do more.

The visual with your mom in the moo-moo with two guns was hysterical. I can only imagine the robbers she would get in southern utah!

I would love to have a gun collection. That would be awesome to have a wall full of guns! They are just so freaking expensive.

Yea… have you ever seen the custom ingraved shot guns from europe? The italians make a lot of them. They are so awsome! I hear that they are amazing to shoot and they look incredible… we can dream, right Jonny?

dude, if you add a cigar in your mom’s mouth, the image is perfect. i can see her running through the house, hurdling the couch and diving sideways - twin guns blazing.

i got the green light from the doc yesterday. i am in full remission and can officially start exercising. maybe i’ll start keeping up with you guys. my new years resolution is to run a 7 minute mile by May. we’ll what happens.

Never heard of the italian shotguns, but i definitely want to get a shotgun next. Yesterday, i went to the shooting range. I had never fired a handgun before and i was somewhat weary, and man was that thing LOUD! I forgot my hearing protection and my left ear started going numb after a while. It was pretty sweet though, can’t wait to go back.

A 7 min mile huh cam? That is pretty ambitious, i’ll take you up on that challenge, tonight i’ll see how fast i can run a mile? Probably not very fast! LOL

Tuffy, where’s that official time? I know that if I don’t train for endurance running, I’d run about an 8.5 minute-mile, then I’d fall over. On the other hand, at one time I regularly ran about 5 miles a day as fast as possible in the dead heat of the summer to be in shape for racing and I got down to about a 6.5 minute-mile. That would only be the case for the first mile, then I’d drop drastically for the remaining four miles. I’d probably run at about a rate of 10-12 min/mile for the remainder. That’s because the first mile absolutely killed me; plus I’d be going up and down huge hills (you know that really big hill by the country club by my mom’s house (Oak’s country club???). Anyway, let’s hear tuffy’s fastest mile…

so, the greatest quarterback of the future (j. beck) threw his first touch down today. i hope all of you are taking notes.

i’m 10-4 on my bowl picks. the big games haven’t even started.

dude, i’m probably running like a 10 minute mile at this point, if that. and i’m completely wasted when i’m done. i’ve got a long way to go. DOMS, your pecs are my motivation.

Isn’t it funny how tuffy blames everyone else for not blogging…

Hey, no one has ever said anything about my victory in the fantasy league! That was pretty awesome huh? This is Jenny, by the way. Well, I guess you guys knew that because Jonathan didn’t even make it to the playoffs!!

Comment by jtuffy — January 2, 2008 @ 12:55 pm

Cause i was too busy trying to explain it to Jenny! LOL

tuffy, any words on the ou performance. one word: sad. i was going to say overrated but i think they just didn’t perform like they could.

as well, i need some thoughts on the big tuna taking the reins for the dolphins. i know your feelings on parcells so i thought you might be hopeful for the my boys.

Comment by The Scam — January 4, 2008 @ 5:01 pm

Only tuffy’s mom is hopeful for your boys Scam.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHH! That was pretty funny.

On the OU game, don’t know what it is, they just don’t seem to show up in the bowl games. Just like last year, they play like garbage in the first half. They looked like a high school team out there. The only excuse i can offer up is the time between the season and the bowl game. It is a freaking month! That is just stupid, they definitely need a playoff system, OU was hot at the end of the year, then just cooled off i guess.

Thoughts on the big tuna….. I’m no proponent of Parcells, I think he is overrated. He’s a dictator and like’s to run the show. He already fired the GM and HC and I wouldn’t be surprised if he tried to reign in more Cowboy personnel. But he’s a rookie VP hiring rookie GM’s and HC’s. Of course they will improve next year, how can you not after 1-15 and Parcells will look like the ship corrector, however, after 4 year’s he’ll bounce leaving a mediocre team. Plus Parcells likes old vets, don’t be surprised to see them sign some old QB. I’d be looking for other teams if i were John Beck.
