Alright I think we have had enough complaining about the site. “how do I post pics” “Why don’t I have a page of my own” and about 5 times “I hate scrolling through 50 comments, can’t we delete the old ones. can’t we start a new blog.” wine wine wine. So I am working on it. I am aware of the issues. Please understand my sense is much more common than any of yours. So I am aware of and trying to figure out a solution. I am trying to figure out for it to archive each days comments. Please be patient during this learning process.

Henry Out !!!!

Crap, this was supposed to go in the general blogging. How do you do that?

Nice, pretty good comments by Scam but most people that carry concealed guns aren’t crazy and wouldn’t go running around waving them, they would most likely know how to use them properly and be good marksmen! So the asian dude would’ve gone down with some very nicely placed shots

Well cameron I don’t know if you are right or not. I do believe its our responsibility as citizens to fight crime. What kinda citizen are you if you just sit back and watch it happen. I would hope if a crime was being committed on me, that some other citizens would come to my aid. I think that I might go out chasing after the shooter. And I would know if I made that decision that I might die. If I knew he was just going from class room to class room shooting people then I think I would. What kinda pathetic person am I if I just site curled up in the corner while I know he is in the next room slaughtering more people. I have to try and do something. Maybe I am full of crap, but I think I might have gone out chasing after the guy even without a gun. I think our generation is desenseitized to death. Think of the WW2 generation. I don’t think those guys would have been curled up in a corner. They would have rallied together and done something. They would have died trying for sure. If i watched a guy come in shoot my professor in the head, and then shoot 10 of the 15 other people in the class I would have taken action. You send the women and children to run away and you “cowboy up” and do what you can.

Also, I don’t think there will be much backlash against asians in general. You don’t even look asain anways cameron. I would guess you were mexican. lol

And Ok I will change it so not so many comments show up on the post. But I don’t want to hear any complaining that somebody didn’t get to read some. I think it archives them anyways.

I don’t think this page had been created when I posted my last comments. Did you guys read them on the general bicha-ing page? Thanks.

And lets start referring to Scam as “The Voice of Reason” LOL, that was hilarious! I always say Cameron as Mexican as well; don’t know why. I’d like to think that i would take some action, of course i bet my chances of action would be even greater with the touch of cold-steel in my hands!

Comment by jtuffy — April 17, 2007 @ 7:27 pm

Mexican? Whatever. everyone says that jon and i could be brothers so i guess that makes him a latino as well.

spence, i think it would be hard to sit there as well. its not like i want to hide like a baby. but it is the best thing to do. you protect other people, give the killer less people to kill, and you stay out of the cops way. that is what a good citizen would do. how would you feel if you went walking through the halls with your gun drawn, and the cops mistake you for the bad guy and cap you a couple of times. my way is less risk with more results. that’s capitalism, baby.

Michael made a good point about the media. I was watching the news (i won’t tell you guys which station) and they started the report with this booming sound and then this real intense music played as they showed “the massacre at virginia tech” in red letters. c’mon. is this a corny lifetime movie? no. this is a real event that has destroyed people’s lives. it should be handled with more discretion and sensitivity.

i think that the more you glorify this situation with the ominous music and tear jerking montages, the more some dude will think this is the way to solve his/her problems and take out some of his fellow classmates at the university of tulsa. i don’t want to die. i don’t own a gun so i wouldn’t be able to defend myself. but seriously, i think the media destroys the sensitivity of the situation and exploits the victims and the people.

spencer, is there anyway to just start a new post after like 20 comments. we can just make that a rule among ourselves. or do we need to do something technical? can we post new stuff in the “general blogging” section? if so, how?

i am the voice of reason. its about time i got credit.

Comment by Michael — April 17, 2007 @ 10:16 pm

yes sometimes it takes a few minutes for posts to show up. you just have to be patient.

So Scam are you actually learning how to be an attorney in school. Or is all of your knowledge going to be gained through actual experience? Additionally any ideas what kinda law you would like to go into. What kinda job are you hoping to get when you graduate? just make sure you choose something that you can make atleast $100k a year straight outa college.

Nice, thank you for the wisdom dear web-master! We will obey! LOL

Comment by jtuffy — April 18, 2007 @ 11:28 am

Mr. Wayne,

Don’t we all learn through actual experience? Is there any other way? I’m trying to get a job prosecuting these companies that sell website packages and promise their clients ridiculous sales. i’ve heard of these guys maxing out old grandma’s credit card and taking her medication money all in the name of easy money. there’s a huge business taking these companies down.

realistically, i’m at a crossroads. i could go down the high powered attorney route and make a ton of money but work a ton of hours, or i can work for a company and make 1/2 a ton of money and work reasonable hours. decisions, decisions. just kidding. i actually really love law school. i would be a DA for 30K a year if i didn’t have to pay back my loans. its one of those things that just gets my blood pumping and my mind racing. the law affects everyone of you and knowing how to use it to your advantage is pretty powerful.

i guess i will wait a few minutes for this post to show up.

thanks for all the work you guys are putting into this. i’m just a user.

Dude, i am going to be one of those in house attorneys. no one can destroy me. i’m big time, smengles, big time.

i posted this at 4:43 april 18.

Comment by The Scam — April 18, 2007 @ 5:44 pm

Well I doubt you would be skilled enough to take any of those companies down. You would probably be a better fit for a divorce attorney or something. And those companies don’t sell anybody anything they don’t want. Plus they usually have in house attorneys who would destroy you. Plus me feeding my family is more important than grandma getting her meds. So stick with the small time stuff scam.

Gee wiz, I guess this is where the new posts are going. Took me long enough to find it (hint, hint).

I have a brand new topic!!!!! Have you guys heard about the new energy drink, Cocaine? It’s causing a lot of controversy! Store owners are urged to not sell the product (and they’re not, those “Wal-Marts”!). They’re saying it causes kids to glamorize the illegal drug cocaine and will lead to more abuse of it. I say what a bunch of crap! No really, I should have put that in quotes because I really do say it. The actual company that makes the drink said they named it this way because they knew it would be controversial and it would give them free advertising. Genius! The news tried to say how bad it was because it contains, and imagine me dramatizing this, “3 times as much caffeine as the popular energy drink, Red Bull!” Ridiculous because Red Bull only has 80 mg caffeine per serving. One cup of coffee has more than that (anywhere between 100-200 mg per cup). A Starbucks large coffee has about as much, and I think actually more, than the new cocaine drink (can’t be sure of that because they didn’t give the actual amount in the Cocaine drink). So what’s the word? Do you guys see it like I do? Like they are making a big deal out of nothing? Or do you think their arguments hold water? Let us all know!
