spencer, why don’t you call me and give me the details. i’ll run it by kressyda but it should be cool if you stay with us. what is your complete flight itenerary and weekend schedule?

here’s my advice to seth on the construction thing (as a life/career). do it if you want to.

advice my dad gave me on a career: do something that will financially support your family, that will allow you to magnify your church callings, and will allow you time to spend with your family. plus, you should probably enjoy it or you will just be miserable.

so, if you think continuing your education will accomplish this, cool. if you think construction might, that’s cool too. you are ultimately the judge of that.

why don’t you call and get the details. lol. i don’t know the weekend itenerary. just give me the code to the garage, and I’ll slip in in the middle of the night, and you won’t even notice i was there.

I can just get a hotel, it your going to have to get high level approval from the boss.

no, no, its just a formality. do you like pancakes or waffles for breakfast? (note: i’m not really going to fix you pancakes or waffles).

Scam, did you see the reaction I got out of tuffy starting with Seth’s #44 post on June 26th (right after you left for a day)? You should check it out. It isn’t too often we get to enjoy such things. It’s all thanks to the blog.

Looks like we’re coming in to town as planned (leave on Sat., arrive Sunday night or Monday morning). Scam, you may want to introduce your muscles to some resistance in preparation H (H for Heavy, baby). I’ll start preparing my unilateral horizontal strength for passing the sacrament to the next guy. Spence … you just keep on keepin on.

DOMS, i see you are all about inciting the friendship riot. although, i have to say, the whole professional friend thing was pretty funny. but tuffy was definitely on his game with his rebuttal.

i guess you and i bear the burden of weekend warrior friends.

Comment by The Scam — June 28, 2007 @ 4:24 pm

Well, you know what they say … April showers, bring may flowers. But May floods, bring June bugs!

And, by the way, that was a Coday-Original. Feel free to use it, just be sure to cite your source.

does june rain bring july pain.

Comment by Sweet Moses — June 28, 2007 @ 5:13 pm

Very good smenger!

Congrats to Spence on his new toy! Sounds pretty awsome. You should bring ‘er up and hit the sand dunes. A bunch of the guys I work with ride 4-wheelers and dirt bikes and know some sweet places to ride.

I just got home from 9 hours of roofing. It was killer! It has been in the low 90s… but remember that a roof is made to reflect heat away from the house, and we are on top of it getting baked (plus, this one is metal.) We were putting the top finishing peice of the roof on this giant log home. You stradle the top of the house and scoot along screwing it down. It was so hot I think I got blisters on my anus from sitting on the roof.

And speaking of roofing… how did you all get the idea that I was thinking about construction as a living? All I said is that it could be fun to go into buisness with Jon. This is just a summer job, I am definantly aplying to grad school this next year. If I end up teaching high school, then I might roof during the summers… you never know. But grad school is definantly the plan.

i have blisters on my anus.

are you getting a really nice tan. remember the days when we could take our shirts off to mow the lawn. nowadays i have a killer farmers tan. my neck and forearms look really sexy though.

june rain doesn’t bring july pain … smengler does.

Comment by The Scam — June 28, 2007 @ 5:53 pm

You’re right scam. June rain brings July drain!

Comment by DOMS 287 — June 28, 2007 @ 6:18 pm

well Scam, I will call you tomorrow sometime. My highschool buddy really wants me to stay with him. So I will atleast friday night I guess. Then I will be doing reunion stuff most of the day on saturday. and maybe golfing sunday morning. (don’t worry it is a missionary experience with the buddies). but we will hang out sunday night for sure, and maybe saturday sometime also. I’ll just have to see how it goes. So if you could be flexible with me that would be sweet. are you coming to O town in july?

Comment by Sweet Moses — June 28, 2007 @ 6:31 pm

Smengler, are you not staying past the weekend? I was really looking forward to slapping you on the @$$!

Comment by DOMS 287 — June 28, 2007 @ 7:13 pm

well, finally getting on, i see that michael is attempt to fan the flames as always, i think you are the artful instigator. LOL, i see we have burnt anus’s and spence buying a 600 dollar plan ticket to oklahoma. Today was crazyness at work, i really do want to quit right now, but i know it will be over soon, I had to go to a 4 hour meeting! Brutal. Anyways, tomorrow is FRIDAY, so booyah, heading down to the shore (that what they call it in jersey) on Saturday to work off my sexy farmer’s tan.

May floods june bugs, lol, somehow i don’t think that one was orignal.

So anyone getting the iphone? I would except for the touchscreen keypad.

Hello????

Comment by jtuffy — June 28, 2007 @ 9:10 pm

You can’t get the iphone because you didn’t stick with AT&T! I could, but I didn’t stick with the money (that rhymes again)! And, if you think by slapping spence’s @$$ I was trying to fan the flames, then you’re wrong, but I’m sure it would accomplish that considering the @$$ that’d be gettin slapped. And gee, look how important tuffy is with his four hour “meetings”. And I know my june bugs was really, really, REALLY clever, but it is totally original! Thanks for the compliment!

Comment by DOMS 287 — June 28, 2007 @ 9:23 pm

Why don’t you drive down here friday night doms, then you are 4 hours closer to your destination

Comment by jtuffy — June 28, 2007 @ 9:35 pm

That’s a good idea but you’ll keep me up all night with your hanky-panky! Can you stay off of me enough that I get some sleep? Oops, I just asked Brooke and she doesn’t get off work til 10:30 pm. Guess it’s out of the question. I know, I know, had I taken your advice and left her here, then it wouldn’t be such a problem. It’s essential that she goes. If it were up to my mom, Brooke would go and I’d stay home! They need help babysitting!

Comment by DOMS 287 — June 28, 2007 @ 9:53 pm

we all know you couldn’t survive on your own doms, someone needs to be there to pick up your skid-marked undies and mix your protein shakes. : )

Comment by jtuffy — June 28, 2007 @ 9:56 pm

Yeah, you’re right, skid! Stay away from my undies!

Comment by DOMS 287 — June 28, 2007 @ 10:09 pm

I didn’t think that my brain could hurt any more than it did from baking in the sun, during a 17 hour work day… but, good job Michael… you did it!

Comment by Seth — June 29, 2007 @ 12:07 am

It is so funny all the different stages everyone is at.

Michael still is yet to understand what work is and the benefits of it.

Seth has just discovered work and its many pleasures over the past 2 or 3 days.

Cameron is getting the royal treatment because his work skills are in high demand.

Tuffy has been working long enough that he hates it.

I have worked long enough that i have hated it, and am back to liking it.

doms I will be leaving at 5am monday morning. so you should hit the highway hot and heavy, and maybe I can see you late sunday night. I will be chillin at Scam’s house.

Comment by Jimmy Hostility — June 29, 2007 @ 12:25 am

I have allways understood work and it’s pleasures. Do you think school is easy for me? And… it’s not like this is the first job I have ever had. I’m really getting sick of this concept that I do not work and that I do not like work. Have you ever thought that maybe it really sucked for me to not be able to work for the past year or so? Maybe you should try to think about things before you unleash the hostility… or at least pull your head out of your butt and check out the view.
