Crazy Thursday

You won't believe what happened to me yesterday, here is the story......
Jenny has been trying to get me to get rid of the truck for some time now. She hates driving it because it is so big and get horrible gas mileage (she drives the truck since i have a long commute and take the gas sipping Civic). I was almost to the point of agreeing to trade in the truck for a cramped Corolla. Thankfully, I didn't lose my manhood that day. I was able to coax, persuade Jenny into letting me get a cheap motorcycle instead so that we could get great gas mileage, she could drive the Civic and I could keep my manliness intact somewhat. So Wednesday night I picked up the bike i had been eyeing and drove it home, it was great to be back on the open road.
I was pretty excited to have a bike again, I rode it to work Thursday morning with great anticipation. Halfway to work, disaster struck. A saw a cop following close behind in my rearviews, couple seconds later.....lights were blazing! So I pull over, i know i wasn't speeding so i wasn't too worried. He pulled me over since i had no tag on the bike (the guy took it off the night before). I told the officer that i just bought the bike the night before and didn't have any paper work. The guy treated me like dirt! Like i stole the thing. He went in his car for a while and then came out and said he was impounding the bike!!!!! (see picture above) LOL. So i'm sitting there on this curb with hundreds of cars going by while the tow truck comes and he latches my bike down and hauls it away, 12 hours after i bought it! On top of the madness the cop gave me a citation fee too!
I had to call work and some co-workers came and got me. I've had quite a few jokes at my expense lately, but it was some pretty funny stuff, except for the 182 dollar towing/impound fee and 78 dollar citation. Luckily, someone at work is very well connected and I got the bike out of the impound free of charge!!!! Now i just have to go see the judge and fight the citation. So that was my experience, it will be a great story in a couple months when i get over it!!

No sir! We need to bring the blog back. I have just been really busy with work this week, and I probably will be next week too. But, I can still make some time to hop on every day or two. When does Scam take the bar? Hopefuly he will have time to head down to the library to check the blog more too.

Anyway, that is crazy story. Sitting there on the highway watching your vehicle get towed away would be humiliating. I got pulled over by a state policeman a few weeks ago. I was speeding and I didn't have my front license plate on the car. He asked me where I was going and I told him the comic book shop to play some games with my buddies... He must have felt bad for me being so nerdy so he let me off the hook! Good times.

Man I just saw that Rachel changed the name on my blogger account. I asked her about it and it didn't seem like a big deal to her that the name on my blogger account was Rachel. I get no respect I tell ya.

Seth, talk about no respect, what about my video! I guess I won't waste my time with the blog, I'll just send emails to tuffy.

But tuffy's story of the week is the story of the year! It hardly gets any better than that! You can't find comic books with stories more thrilling! Thanks tuffy. Thanks for the lifetime of laughs with this one.

I don't do Harleys. And I don't know what's happened to the blog. I guess no one has called spence to tell him something controversial has been posted, scam's out doing who knows what, and seth's been... well, again, who knows what (or what not). Tuffy and I have just been stimulating the blog and waiting for some responses, but nothing.

Tuffy, I'm working on something special for you. It will help prepare you for your trip over to CT.

Alright tuffy, I just sent you your surprise (email). Study it so you'll be ready when you get here!

You can't ride crotch rockets forever! You'd look pretty silly driving a bullet bike at 50! I got your email, you are crazy is this what you do everyday, stoppies and wheelies all over town?

DOMS 287 said...

Not all over town, just on the track I sent you! And how silly can you look at 50 on a CR if you have a helmet on!

Cruisers are nice... and when you ride a cruiser you get to give all the other bikers the secret two finger down low motorcycle wave.

LOL, you would look pretty silly on a crotch rocket when you are 50! I will definitley have a harley and be handing out the down low wave (actually seth all motorcycles do it, mainly you just do it amongst your kind, cruisers wave to cruisers and and sports to sports) but i wave to anyone waving at me, on Friday, two kids were waving at me from the backseat of a car. We will definitely have to get together one day and get cruiser and tour the country. We could do the wild hogs movie bit! LOL..... Ok, i'm going to start a new blog, relevant to this weekends news.
