Whoa there bessy!

So lets here the reaction from the local Dems out there.... Seth and Carrie....
We need to have some more political discussion. How about 1 topic per week, there should be like 10 or so to choice from, that might jump start the blog again. So what will it be this week? Abortion, gun control, The War, economy, social programs, health care, foreign policy, stem cell research, ......what else, someone pick a topic and lets roll!

Crazy Thursday

You won't believe what happened to me yesterday, here is the story......

Jenny has been trying to get me to get rid of the truck for some time now. She hates driving it because it is so big and get horrible gas mileage (she drives the truck since i have a long commute and take the gas sipping Civic). I was almost to the point of agreeing to trade in the truck for a cramped Corolla. Thankfully, I didn't lose my manhood that day. I was able to coax, persuade Jenny into letting me get a cheap motorcycle instead so that we could get great gas mileage, she could drive the Civic and I could keep my manliness intact somewhat. So Wednesday night I picked up the bike i had been eyeing and drove it home, it was great to be back on the open road.

I was pretty excited to have a bike again, I rode it to work Thursday morning with great anticipation. Halfway to work, disaster struck. A saw a cop following close behind in my rearviews, couple seconds later.....lights were blazing! So I pull over, i know i wasn't speeding so i wasn't too worried. He pulled me over since i had no tag on the bike (the guy took it off the night before). I told the officer that i just bought the bike the night before and didn't have any paper work. The guy treated me like dirt! Like i stole the thing. He went in his car for a while and then came out and said he was impounding the bike!!!!! (see picture above) LOL. So i'm sitting there on this curb with hundreds of cars going by while the tow truck comes and he latches my bike down and hauls it away, 12 hours after i bought it! On top of the madness the cop gave me a citation fee too!

I had to call work and some co-workers came and got me. I've had quite a few jokes at my expense lately, but it was some pretty funny stuff, except for the 182 dollar towing/impound fee and 78 dollar citation. Luckily, someone at work is very well connected and I got the bike out of the impound free of charge!!!! Now i just have to go see the judge and fight the citation. So that was my experience, it will be a great story in a couple months when i get over it!!

It is almost that time my friends, almost. It is going to be a good football season, I can feel it in the winds. With that, along comes fantasy football, let me know if anyone is interested in trying to take down last year's reigning champ, Jenny.

Stupid, Stupid, Stupid

Horrible waste of time and money. I haven't paid to see a movie in the theater in a long time. I finally do, and I choose the worst movie I could have. Just for starters (especially if you haven't seen the movie yet), how about the unbelievable similarities between the main female characters of the all-too-popular Spiderman and this gay movie The Dark Knight:
