Was digging through some old email trying to find out what happened to my old blue 64 mustang and ran into some old posts.  Hilarious how a blink of time and 10 years+ has passed. 

So many wonderful times and so many wonderful times to come!

First off, people should not wear flat-brimmed baseball hats.  If you are out of high-school, there should be a public shaming of people wearing flat baseball hats.  Its a fad; Its a bad one.  Unless you are going
to a Beibs concert, keep it off the streets.



It is the same as ketchup on hotdogs, its considered a crime to put ketchup on a hotdog after the age of 17 according to GQ magazine, how is that for sophistication for you.  Its for kids.

Can you believe it has been 4 years since we last posted on this thing?  I was just chatting with Michael Coday and he mentioned that he was reading up on some old posts.  Let's get something going again.  What do you say

Ok, the first step is committment. This is like the engagment ring, you set a date, plop down some money and hope he/she shows up. I took the plunge and signed up yesterday, Jenny will sign up today for the race. There is a link below that takes you to the page.

I'm super excited about the race, but i'm even more excited about the possibility of hanging out with you knuckle heads again. I was going through some old boxes the other day and found the best stuff, the mission tapes from michael with a shower photo of him as well, letters from Spencer, PW cartoons from seminary, Seth kissing spencer, cards from Carrie and more.... good times.

Anyways, looking at flight info, the cheapest place to fly from is Tulsa which is like 220 bucks total (too bad no one lives there) From newwark it is 350, from Laredo it is 330 and from Midland it is 650! (Whats up with that). I'm sure that Spence will take the private jet there and Seth could drive since they are giving gas away for free right now. : )

So take the plunge my friends, I signed up for the 10K after looking at the course mape for the half-marathon.

Ok, how about some Motivation....

Wow, a month hiatus. How about this idea.... we are always talking about how we are going to get together one day...all this big talk about finally doing it. "How about next year", "I can do it in August" Blah Blah Blah, Bottom line..isn't going to happen unless we commit. So, I'm going to take a leap and commit myself to a gathering place. Right here, right now. (Seth this one is for you). There has been talk about doing something outdoorsy to get us together, i.e. bike trip, raft trip.... so lets work on that. Seth mentioned an interesting race last year called the North Face endurance challenge. Well I signed up for the one in D.C. only to have it cancelled by the hurricane. So what about next year? How about doing? I'm committing right now to the one in Bellingham, WA on June 6th, 2009. That is on the west coast, close to Spence and close enough to drive to for Seth. Even better, the townsend just bought a sweet island house there a couple months back, so we would have a swank place to stay for a week (course, I'll have to ask first, but don't see a problem, its empty), while we relived the Sapulpa ward days, visit the great country of Canada and do the race. June 6th is a Sat. so I know you monkeys could at least do Thur. - Sun. So no excuses. Personally i'm thinking about going up there for the whole week.. It would be sweet!!! So, i'm in, who else is?

Seth - Happy Belated B-Day! Sorry for the space-out, things are wild around here trying to get ready to move. Hope you had a good one. I had a little party at our house yesterday and i used your blue bowl you gave us for a chip bowl. Was great. Would love to have more pieces.
